The 6.0Ah and 3.0Ah batteries were also available separately from the tools.

These Kobalt 24V USB-C batteries were recalled after Greenworks received reports of the batteries producing smoke, sparking, or catching fire while the batteries were inserted in the tool and charging via the USB-C port, posing a risk of serious injury from fire hazard. They received 34 reports.

They will provide these items.
