EGO Launches Cordless Car Pressure Washer with Longer Hose

EGO has introduced a new pressure washer designed for automotive cleaning. The HPW1200, part of the 56V Power+ lineup, offers a 2.0 GPM flow rate, higher than previous models, to efficiently remove dirt and soap from vehicles. This model is the third cordless pressure washer in the Power+ series, expanding EGO’s outdoor power equipment range, which now includes a variety of cordless cleaning tools.

This cordless washer includes three power modes, ECO, High, and Turbo, with runtimes of up to 35 minutes in ECO mode using a 6.0Ah battery. It features a 40-foot steel-braided hose, longer than the 25-foot hose on the HPW2105 model, for easier maneuverability around vehicles. The longer hose is specifically designed to reduce the need to reposition the washer, enhancing user convenience during cleaning tasks.

The washer includes four nozzles (15°, 25°, 40°, and 60°), a foam cannon, and an extension handle, along with a 1/4-inch short pressure washer gun. A siphon hose allows water to be drawn from sources like buckets or lakes, useful for mobile detailing. This feature is particularly beneficial for professionals who need to work in locations without direct access to a water supply.

Priced at $399.99, the kit includes a 6.0Ah battery and charger, with a 5-year warranty. While it’s EGO’s most affordable pressure washer, its 1200 PSI rating is lower than other models, making it better suited for light to medium-duty cleaning. The price point reflects its positioning as a budget-friendly option, though it sacrifices some power for cost-effectiveness.

Unlike EGO’s 2100 PSI and 3200 PSI models, which max out at 1.2 GPM, the HPW1200’s higher flow rate makes it effective for quickly rinsing soap and grime. However, the lower pressure limits its ability to tackle deeply embedded dirt, making it less suitable for heavy-duty tasks.
