I’m sure we’ve all been there. You see a book cover which grabs you because it’s so beautifully eye-catching. Within seconds, you’re wishing that you could live in the world it portrays. That world might not be perfect, but it’ll certainly be exciting!
If I could pack up my bags and move in to one of these book covers, I would do it in a heartbeat.
5) ‘A Thousand Pieces of You‘ by Claudia Gray
I haven’t read any of the books in the Firebird trilogy, so I don’t know what the world is like, but the covers prove that it’s absolutely beautiful. Hopefully it’s not too murderous and dangerous: I’d like a quiet life!
4) ‘The Smell of Other People’s Houses‘ by Bonnie-Sue Hitchcock
Who wouldn’t want to live in Alaska? Especially in an adorable village like this one.
3) ‘Like a River Glorious‘ by Rae Carson
I haven’t read ‘Like a River Glorious’, and I know nothing about the Golden Seer universe, but the cover has such beautiful covers! If I could live in a world where clouds were that vibrant and the sea was as pure a shade of blue, it would be heaven.
2) ‘Daughter Of The Burning City‘ by Amanda Foody
This world looks as though it would lead to an early demise, but it’s so beautiful! I’m not sure if it’s the purple sky or the city made of tents, but I’d love to live in this cover.
1) ‘Frost Like Night‘ by Sara Raasch
In England, the seasons are perpetually rainy. You have hot rain in summer and icy rain in winter, but there’s always rain. The cover I would really love to live in is ‘Frost Like Night’, because it’s a place where all of the seasons are experienced purely. A winter when it snowed would be the best thing in the world!
I hope you enjoyed this Top Five Wednesday! If you could choose one book cover to move in to, which one would you pick and why?
