TOP TEN TUESDAY: Ten book covers that scream summer

Top Ten Tuesday header

(Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and The Bookish!)

This week, Top Ten Tuesday is a freebie week on the topic of summer reads. I love book covers, so I thought why not showcase some of the most beautiful summery covers here?

I haven’t read most of these books yet, but I’m hoping to change that soon!

Click on any of the covers if you’d like to check them out on Goodreads.

I haven’t put these covers in any order, because I really like them all. That’s surprising, because I recently talked about the fact that I didn’t particularly like covers that had people on them… I guess things are different when they’re summery.

If you forced me to choose a favourite, it would have to be ‘If Birds Fly Back’ by Carlie Sorosiak. It has a special place in my heart!

Let’s talk:

Which is your favourite summery book cover? Would you pick one of the ones I’ve chosen or could you think of a better one? Leave your recommendations down in the comments: I’m a sucker for a good summery contemporary.

  • I love the cover of Let’s Get Lost. There is just something about it that has always drawn me in. Great list.

    • It’s so beautiful! I’m surprised more covers don’t feature maps, because they’re so effective.

  • Those are some great summery book covers. I’m such a sucker for a great cover. I shared some summery book cover a week or so ago and some of these were even on my list. We found some great ones.

    • Summery covers are so enjoyable to look at: they’re all bright and beautiful and just make me want to go on vacation!

  • Poinsettia

I really like the covers for The Moon and More and Second Chance Summer, but they are all great. Here is my Top Ten Tuesday

    • All of Sarah Dessen’s book covers are so gorgeous – serious cover lust!
